New England Riptide News Release
If you've been meaning to come to a Riptide home game, there are only nine games left! The team is in the running for the playoffs--these dedicated athletes need your support! Pro sports depend on their fans, and it really means a lot to the players to have you there cheering in the stands. Riptide fans have been fantastic and we wish to thank all of you who have been coming to the games!
Martin Softball Field is easy to find, just minutes off Route 495 (directions below**). There's plenty of parking adjacent to the field. The games are filled with great hitting, excellent pitching, close plays on the field. Off the field, there's face painting, good food, between-innings games, prizes, great music, announcements of teams in attendance..... and our fans' favorite, the autograph session. After the game, players will autograph your program, t-shirt, souvenir ball (or caught foul ball)....someone recently even had her sneakers autographed! You'll have the chance to say hello and let your favorite players know that you've enjoyed watching them.
So ... bring a camera and take your picture with our seagull mascot, Swoopy.... try to catch that foul ball... maybe win a prize... bring a few teammates and we'll announce that you are there.... there are many ways to have fun while you are watching the best of women's athleticism in the area. Join the fun!!
