Northern Michigan Predators Sign Player Assistant Coach

BODY: The Northern Michigan Predators are excited to announce the signing of Jason Rapcewicz from Hamilton Ontario as their player/assistant coach.

"I couldn't be more happy to have Jason with our organization. He brings a leadership both on and off the ice that is infectious with the players and fans." Said Predators General Manager Joe Kolodziej. "Jason is a character player, a hard hitter, crafty with the puck and positionaly sound. He also has all the intangibles you look for in a player assistant coach, I just can't say enough about him."

"I am real excited about the possibilities in Harbor Springs with the Predators organization." Said Rapcewicz. "Joe and I have been working on getting this done for a while and I am excited to be working with a good friend, quality organization and strong ownership." "The area is beautiful, the rink is first class and the people of Petoskey and Harbor Springs are just incredible, I cant wait to get back there!"

"Jason will be instrumental in working with all players and the Northern Michigan Predators soon to be announced Head Coach." Said Kolodziej. "We are in final negotiations with 4 candidates for the Head Coaching position, and its all about details. I expect we will narrow our list down by Friday this week and close a deal over the weekend or early next week. We want quality people, and quality requires due diligence when interviewing."
