CALGARY - Richard Austin and Brent Krause each drove in four runs to lead the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks to a 10-7 victory over the Calgary Vipers at Foothills Stadium, as the RedHawks clinched the Northern League West Division second-half championship.

Austin batted 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a homer. Krause also batted 3-for-4 and scored three runs. Krause's-RBI triple and Austin's two-run homer keyed a five-run second inning that lifted Fargo-Moorhead to a 7-3 lead.

Fargo-Moorhead's win put the RedHawks seven and one-half games ahead of second-place Edmonton in the NL West second-half standings, with seven games remaining in the regular season. The RedHawks, who also captured the first-half title in the West, will host games one, two, and five (if necessary) of a semi-final playoff series against a yet-to-be-determined wild card playoff opponent.
