Northern Conference Finals Set – Begin On Friday

The Northern Conference Finals are set in the quest for the Ray Miron President's Cup as the Texas Brahmas and the Colorado Eagles will meet in a best of seven series beginning in Colorado on Friday, April 11th at the Budweiser Events Center.

The trip to the conference finals is the third in the Brahmas franchise history and the first since 1999 when the team was in the Western Professional Hockey League (WPHL), they also went in 1998. For the Eagles, it is the fourth straight trip to the conference finals earning President's Cup Championships in two of the last three years.

The two teams are fresh off impressive performances in the conference semifinals with Texas sweeping the Governors' Cup Champion Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs and the Eagles defeating the Youngstown SteelHounds in five games.

During the regular season, the teams split their two games with the home team winning each time. The most recent match-up came on February 2nd in Texas with a 6-4 Brahmas win. Seth Leonard led the way in the regular season for Colorado with five points (2-3=5) in the two games versus the Brahmas and Scott Sheppard scored three goals in the two meetings.
