Arlington, TX - North Texas SC topples the Richmond Kickers 2-1 thanks to goals from Alex Bruce and Eddie Munjoma at Globe Life Park Saturday night.

Game Summary

First Half:

12' - Arturo Rodriguez had a chance from just outside the six-yard box but his eventual shot was saved by Akira Fitzgerald in Richmond's goal.

23' - Alex Bruce scored his second goal in as many games after Thomas Roberts' attempt rebounded into his path straight in front of goal.

45' - Eddie Munjoma scored his first pro goal to double North Texas' lead after picking up a slick backheel pass from Derek Waldeck.

Second Half:

51' - Richmond's Kyle Venter nearly pulled one back from a corner but his glancing header ended up just wide of the far post.

61' - Emiliano Terzaghi halved the deficit for the visitors from the penalty spot after Justin Che was penalized for a foul in the box.

89' - Arturo Rodriguez attempted a shot from an acute angle but Fitzgerald saved comfortably.
