North Texas SC Announces Full 2020 USL League One Season Schedule

FRISCO, Texas - North Texas SC announced its full 2020 USL League One season schedule today. The club will open its season on Saturday, July 25 at 8PM against Forward Madison FC at its new home at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas. Tickets for North Texas SC's home opener are on sale here for $12 and FC Dallas Season Ticket Members can purchase tickets at a discounted rate. All 2020 matches will be shown live on ESPN+.

In a change approved by the League One Board of Governors this week, the regular-season schedule will now see each team play a total of 16 regular season games, with each club set to face every other team at least once over the course of the schedule. The top two teams in the regular season will advance to the 2020 League One Final, which will be played the weekend following the conclusion of the regular season.

August sees North Texas play six matches beginning with an away matchup against newcomers Union Omaha at Werner Park on Aug. 1. The club faces League One's two other expansion sides New England Revolution II and Fort Lauderdale CF - the affiliates of Major League Soccer's New England Revolution and Inter Miami CF respectively - on Aug. 25 at Globe Life Park and Aug. 19 at Fort Lauderdale Stadium.

North Texas plays four matches during September including a rematch of the 2019 USL League One Final against Greenville Triumph SC on Friday, Sept. 25 at Legacy Early College. The final month of the regular season sees the club play five games. North Texas will close out its season with a home match against South Georgia Tormenta FC on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Globe Life Park.
