North Texas Fresh Sign Kyle Plath

FORT WORTH - DALLAS - The North Texas Fresh announced today they have signed Kyle Plath. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Plath (6-5, 195) was a October 2, 2010 tryout player that impressed the Fresh in a tryout scrimmage against the Texas Rimrockers. The Fresh won 119 - 102 and Plath led all scorers with 28 points, 8 from beyond the arc.

The Milwaukee, Wisconsin, native finished his three-year career at Wisconsin Lutheran College finishing with 1,076 career, and hold the record for three - pointer made in a season with 116, and three point percentage in a game going 6 for 6. He was named First Team All-NAC as a senior and averaged 13.6 points in 79 career games.

"He is an exceptional shooter," stated Jay Bowdy, Owner of the Fresh. "I am pleased to have his agent (Joe Lee) contacting me in regards to him coming down to be a part of our franchise. I will not be surprised if he leads the ABA in 3's this year along with Tanner (Johnson)", another rookie who hit more than 100 3's in a college season as well.

Kyle Plath's agent, Joe Lee, is the also the agent of current player Carzel "Moose" Wynn and former player and Ex - NBA Slam Dunk Champion Isaiah "JR" Rider, who played 1 game last season before being released.
