North Shore Navigators News Release

LYNN, Mass. - A pair of Stetson University freshmen will head north from the Sunshine State to join the North Shore Navigators for their 2021 season in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL).

Austin Amaral has worked out of the Hatters' bullpen during his first collegiate season, striking out six while allowing just a single earned run over his first seven innings of work. Prior to arriving at Stetson, the 6-foot-1 right-hander from Debary, Fla., recorded 15 strikeouts in 12.2 innings during his pandemic-shortened senior year at University High School. He was the 275th-ranked player in the nation for the Class of 2020 according to Perfect Game.

Another one of last year's top 500 prospects in the nation, Dylan Brazil will bring his outstanding speed to the Fraser Field outfield. The native of Lake Mary, Fla., has appeared in 10 games, started three and scored six runs for the Hatters. He recorded his first college hit during the first weekend of the season against Florida A&M. Brazil stole 23 bases in two years at Bishop Moore Catholic High School, where he hit .317 with 46 runs scored and 27 RBI.

The Navigators are excited to return to the NECBL for the 2021 season, which will begin on Friday, June 4 at Lynn's historic Fraser Field. Stay up to date on the latest Navs news by visiting nsnavs.com and following the team on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
