
North Shore gains another victory

New Jersey suffered their second loss to the North Shore Spirit in the four game series. North Shore beat the Jackals 20 - 2.
North Shore began their victory with a two-run homerun by Marcos Agramonte in the top of the third. New Jersey Jackal, Zack Smithlin, answered back with a RBI single that brought in Steve Checksfield. Ricardo Cordova tied the game at 2-2 with his own RBI single.
By the seventh inning there was no looking back for North Shore. In the top of seventh inning Eric Storey, Garrett Weir, Yuri Sanchez, and Rob Fisher all had RBI's, while Travis Oglesby smacked out a three-run homerun. Eric Story also hit a three-run homerun in the ninth inning.
New Jersey's starting pitcher Joe Orloski pitched five strong innings, allowing only five earned runs.
The Jackals will face North Shore again tomorrow night in game three. The projected pitcher for New Jersey is Joel Bennett. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m.
