
North Divisional Finals Schedule Announced

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, announce the release of their schedule for the North Divisional Finals.
Kalamazoo will play the Port Huron Fighting Falcons in the best-of-five Final for the chance to be dubbed champion of the North Division. Kalamazoo earned their spot with a 3-1 series victory over the Traverse City North Stars, highlighted by an overtime thriller on April 14th to clinch the series.
Port Huron dropped their first contest in round one to the Michigan Warriors, but stormed back with three straight wins to earn their date with Kalamazoo in the next round.
The two teams fought down the stretch to be regular season champs of the division, with Port Huron taking the divisional in the final game of the regular season with a victory over Kalamazoo. During the regular season, Kalamazoo posted a record of 4-6-2 on the season against Port Huron.
The Schedule is as followed:
Game 1- Friday, April 20th at 7:00 PM @ Port Huron
Game 2- Saturday, April 21st at 7:00 PM @ Port Huron
Game 3- Thursday, April 26th at 7:00 PM Vs. Port Huron
Game 4 (if necessary)- Friday, April 27th at 7:00 PM Vs. Port Huron
Game 5 (if necessary)- Sunday, April 29th at 6:00 PM Vs. Port Huron
The winner of this best of five series will advance to the Robertson Cup Championship that takes place in Frisco, Texas from March 3-8.
Offensively, Port Huron is lead by Kody Polin whose five points (4 goals, one assist) leads the Fighting Falcons. For the Jr. K-Wings, Robbie Payne was on a tear in the opening round with his seven points (3 goals, 4 assits), Brandon Flood has added six points through round one, (two goals, 4 assists) and Drew Graves has tallied five points (3 goals, 2 assists) thus far.
