
North Dakota Mr. Hockey Joining FM Jets

Fargo (ND) Last weekend he was earning North Dakota Mr. Hockey honors and leading the Fargo South High Bruins to a state championship. This weekend he'll try to lead his new team to a national championship.
Fargo-Moorhead Jets head coach Chad Johnson has announced that Fargo South senior Paul Weisgarber will be joining the team for the remainder of the season this week.
Weisgarber will be the fourth local player to be on the team this season joining former Shanley star Kyle Graalum, and Fargo North products Elliot Okland and Jon Halstenson. Weisgarber will continue to go to classes as he works towards graduation, but will attend all practices and be eligible to play throughout the rest of the regular season and into playoffs.
The FM Jets are in first place in the North American Hockey League's Central Division at 31-17-3 and begin a five game home stand this weekend with games Friday and Saturday versus their North Dakota rivals, the Bismarck Bobcats at 7pm.
The FM Jets are the 2005 Borne Cup Champions and are in their third season as members of the North American Hockey League. The NAHL is the nation's largest Junior A hockey league and is now in its 30th year of operation.
Jets home games are played at the John E. Carlson Coliseum in Fargo, ND. All games are broadcast at 103.9 THE TRUCK and fmjets.com.
