The North Carolina Courage defeated visiting Kansas City by a final of 4-0 after scoring two goals in both halves. Lynn Williams, Jessica McDonald, Amy Rodriguez and Meredith Speck all scored for the Courage. Carson Pickett picked up the the first two assists, while Ryan Williams and Taylor Smith recorded an assist each. McDonald's goal marked her 50th NWSL goal and became the fourth player in league history to reach the milestone.
