Norfolk Tides - Charlotte Knights Game Postponed

The Saturday, April 16 game between the Norfolk Tides and the Charlotte Knights has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced. The two clubs will play Sunday, April 17 at the regularly scheduled 1:15 p.m. start time. It will be a full nine-inning game.
Saturday night's magnet schedule giveaway will be moved to Sunday. The first 10,000 fans to enter the park Sunday will receive a Tides magnet schedule compliments of Bank of the Commonwealth and ESPN Radio 94.1.
Fans with a ticket to Saturday night's contest can exchange them for tickets to a future non-restricted Tides game.
The Tides and Knights were scheduled to open Harbor Park Saturday night, but the game was called off due to threatening weather in the Harbor Park area. This marks just the second time in the 19-year history of Harbor Park that the home opener has been postponed due to weather. The 2009 home opener - also played against Charlotte - was postponed as well.
