June 24, 2015 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - Despite playing just nine games, Colorado Mammoth forward Jeremy Noble was named a finalist for the 2015 Rookie of the Year award by the National Lacrosse League on Wednesday.
Noble, a mid-season acquisition by the Mammoth, was the league's Rookie of the Month in March. He led all rookies with 2.9 assists per game, and was second among first-year players with 4.3 points per game.
The University of Denver product is joined by Edmonton's Ben McIntosh and Georgia's Miles Thompson as finalists. McIntosh was selected first overall in the 2014 NLL Entry Draft. Noble was the second pick (by Rochester), followed by Thompson at number three.
The award will be presented in September at the NLL Season Awards Ceremony in Ontario. Last week, Colorado's Joey Cupido was named a finalist for the NLL's Transition Player of the Year award.
