
NLL Names Benesch Player of the Month for April

BUFFALO, NY (May 7, 2015) --- The National Lacrosse League today announced that Buffalo Bandits forward Ryan Benesch was named Player of the Month for April.
The award also encompasses the NLL's week 18 games played in May.
Benesch tallied 43 points (20+23) in five games during April and May, including three game-winning goals. He scored a career-high 12 points (3+9) in Buffalo's 20-10 win over New England on May 2.
The veteran forward finished with 55 goals during the 2015 campaign, which paced the NLL and established a new Bandits record for goals in a season. His 113 points (55+58) this season is second in team history behind John Tavares' 115-point (51+64) season in 2001.
Benesch and the Bandits will take on the Rochester Knighthawks in the East Division semifinals on Friday, May 8, in Rochester. Faceoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
