Nighthawks to hold tryout camp

Rockville, MD. The ABA's Maryland Nighthawks are seeking talented basketball players to fill key positions on their veteran team for the upcoming 2006-2007 season. The Nighthawks will be holding a tryout camp on Saturday, June 24th, 10am-3pm at the #11 Boys & Girls Club in Washington, DC. The tryouts will be conducted by head coach Keith Williams and veterans of last year's team. The Nighthawks, who finished 26-10 with a trip to the final 8 this season and a trip to the final four in the prior season are looking to add to their talented roster for the upcoming season.

The #11 Metropolitan Police Boys & Girls Club is located at 620 Milwaukee Place SE, Washington DC. The team encourages applicants to pre-register online at the cost of $100 to guarantee your spot in the camp. Registration on the day of camp is $125 and admission is on a space-available basis (cash, cashier's check or money order only onsite, no credit cards).
