Maryland NightHawks News Release

Upper Marlboro, MD – Wednesday, September 15, 2004, the Stars of Tomorrow Youth Foundation presented the NightHawks' players to the kids of the Seat Pleasant neighborhood.

Five of the NightHawks' local players ventured out to the Seat Pleasant Recreation Center to meet the anxious youth of the area. Curtis Yarbrough, Kevin Robinson, Anton Jenifer, Antar Parkman and Jermaine Medley gave the kids of Stars of Tomorrow Youth Foundation a night to remember.

Kevin Robinson, Jermaine Medley and Curtis Yarbrough played one-on-one all night with the kids, giving them their second workouts of the day. Jenifer and Parkman focused their attention on playing on the court with the younger kids.

"It was really great to finally get some of the guys into the community. There aren't words to describe the great feeling you get after you do an event like that; a kid's smile is priceless. After seeing the guys out there working with the kids, it made me realize what a great group of guys we are putting together on our team. Expect to see us out in the community more and more," Haines said.

The Stars of Tomorrow Youth Foundation looks to better the community by "Teaching Today's youth to be tomorrow's leaders." For more information on the Stars of Tomorrow visit www.starsoftomorrowyouthfoundation.org or call (301) 350-7827.
