Omaha Nighthawks News Release

OMAHA, NE - Friday, November 12 - Want to watch the Omaha Nighthawks in action this season? Then pray that the sellout crowd that packs into Rosenblatt Stadium for the visit of the Florida Tuskers on Friday, November 19 cheers them to victory and the right to face the Las Vegas Locos in the 2010 UFL Championship Game.

The battle for the 2010 UFL crown between the Locos and a to-be-determined opponent will be the final sporting event at Omaha's historic Rosenblatt Stadium on Saturday, November 27 (11am CDT kickoff).

If football fans in the Omaha region have yet to sample the buzz and excitement of the partisan Nighthawks games, they will have to buy Championship Game tickets - because the team's final regular season contest is already sold out a week ahead of time.

For the fourth straight home game, the Omaha Nighthawks will play in front of a packed Rosenblatt Stadium when the Florida Tuskers visit for a match up that will have a bearing on which team advances to the post season. It could be a winner-takes-all clash, which is why the people of Omaha have extended the Nighthawks sellout streak to a league record four games.

The stats read like this: Four games in Omaha Nighthawks team history at home. Four games in team history at home SOLD OUT!

"The reaction in Omaha and the surrounding areas to the Nighthawks has been incredible," said General Manager RICK MUELLER. "We felt there was something special about the place from day one, but we never dared to anticipate four straight sellouts.

"We want to say thank you to the fans for their loyal and unwavering support and when coach JEFF JAGODZINSKI and his team take the field both in Sacramento on Saturday night and at home to the Tuskers, getting to that Championship Game will be the only thing on their minds."

The Nighthawks' crucial visit to take on the Mountain Lions in Sacramento will air live on Versus at 10pm CDT this Saturday, November 13. An Omaha win will set up a potential winner-takes-all meeting with the Tuskers before the sellout Rosenblatt Stadium crowd.

For those who missed out on getting tickets early and can't be there, the November 19 game will air live at 7.30pm CDT / 8.30pm EDT on HDNet with KENNY RICE and PAUL MAGUIRE calling the action following an HDNet pregame show at 7pm CDT / 8pm EDT.

The Nighthawks, who are 2-1 at home, average a league-best 23,346 fans per game and that fan support helped earn Omaha the right to host UFL Championship Game, which will be played in the city on November 27. The Nighthawks are looking to avenge a 31-14 loss in Florida to the Tuskers, who boast a 2-1 road record, to potentially play a part in that game.

Rosenblatt Stadium offers limited parking, so the Nighthawks are urging fans to car pool or take advantage of public transport and game-specific shuttle services to avoid traffic and parking congestion. Further details of the following available shuttle services will be posted at www.UFL-Football.com/omaha-nighthawks.
