Nighthawks announce dance team auditions

Rockville, MD. The ABA Maryland Nighthawks are pleased to announce the first audition for the 2006-2007 Nighthawks Dancers Dance Team. Looking to add to the already vast amount of entertainment on game nights, the team announced the formation of the "Nighthawks Dancers." According to Adam Dantus, the team's Director of Sales and Marketing, "The Nighthawks Dancers will contribute to the exciting in-game experience for our fans as well as taking part in community events."

Applications can be found on www.marylandnighthawks.com/dance. Auditions will take place at the Bauer Community Center in Rockville on Saturday, July 22nd at 10am-2pm and Sunday, July 23 at 12pm-4pm. Sandy Vogleman, former Washington Wizards dancer, now director of the Nighthawks Dancers, will be putting together a team of not only great dancers but also a team that will have a strong commitment to the community and embodying the pride associated with the Nighthawks organization. Ms. Vogelman is looking for women who are professional and well rounded in their dance background and will be willing to meet and interact with the community.
