Nick Davila Injury Update

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Washington Valor quarterback Nick Davila underwent successful surgery to stabilize a neck injury sustained in Saturday night's game against the Philadelphia Soul. Davila is expected to make a full recovery as he sustained no neurological damage and has full movement in all extremities. Davila will begin rehabilitation immediately and will miss the remainder of the 2018 season.
"I am incredibly grateful to the Washington Valor organization, the Arena Football League, the union and the players," Davila said. "This league is a family and holds a special place in my heart. I am excited for whatever comes next because of the togetherness and support I have experienced since joining the AFL eight years ago. We are all in this together."
