Newcomer Brisson nets game-winner in 2009-10 MISL opener

BALTIMORE - Rockford Rampage defender Chris Brisson scored the game-winning goal in overtime as the Rampage defeated the host Baltimore Blast, 10-8, on Friday night in the 2009-2010 Major Indoor Soccer League season opener at 1st Mariner Arena. Brisson's tally came 9 minutes and 47 seconds into the overtime session.

Bato Radoncic, Matthew Stewart, Gary Brooks and Ibrahim Kante were the Rampage's other goal scorers as they topped the Blast, winners of last season's National Indoor Soccer League championship over Rockford.

Next up for the Rampage is their home opener, which takes place at 7:35 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, against the Milwaukee Wave at the MetroCentre.
