NEW YORK - The New York Liberty today announced that the team has waived rookie guard Valerie Higgins.
Higgins, the Liberty's 2021 third round pick (No. 25 overall), is the first WNBA draftee in University of the Pacific history. Valerie averaged 16.5 points and 9.7 rebounds per game, while shooting 46.6% from the field in her 2020-21 redshirt senior campaign.
