New York Liberty to Host Second Annual Sneakerhead Game Presented by Nike on Sat., July 8

NEW YORK - The New York Liberty will host its second annual Sneakerhead Game on Saturday, July 8 when the team takes on the Seattle Storm at 2 p.m. ET at Barclays Center.
The unique gameday experience for fans will include a complimentary Jason Markk sneaker cleaning station presented by American Express and the first 2,000 fans will receive an exclusive pair of New York Liberty socks. In-game programming will feature a halftime performance by Team Hype, along with performances by the Timeless Torches, Lil Torches, and Torch Patrol. After making its debut last season, 'Kick Cam presented by Nike' - an in-arena sneaker camera that highlights sneakerhead elements - will be on display throughout the game on the main concourse.
Additionally, the Liberty are partnering with Soles4Souls a non-profit dedicated to turning unwanted clothing and shoes into opportunities. Fans can bring new and gently used sneakers to Barclays Center on game day and drop in a Soles4Souls donation box that will be available on the arena concourse. All donors will receive two complimentary tickets when the New York Liberty take on the Indiana Fever at Barclays Center on Sunday, July 23.
