New TV deal will air Alaska Wild home games during the 2008 and 2009 seasons

Alaska Professional Sports, Inc. is proud to announce a new two-year television partnership agreement deal with Alaska Broadcast Television, FamilyNet Cable 19/TV 35 (KCFT) for the 2008 and 2009 Alaska Wild Intense Football League (IFL) seasons. This agreement guarantees all seven home games will be broadcast on a time delayed basis or if tickets sell-out 24 hours in advance the broadcast will be aired live. The TV agreement also gives Alaska Broadcast Television the right to air an original broadcast one additional time before the following home game broadcast. Last season, the Alaska Professional Sports, Inc. had the pleasure of having all seven Alaska Wild home games aired on KCFT FamilyNet and now the partnership has been renewed and reworked for the next two years. "KCFT FamilyNet is proud and excited to enter this multi-year partnership with the Alaska Professional Sports, Inc. We are extremely impressed by the Wild's commitment to excellence and their ability to provide exciting and competitive games for their fans," said Tom Steigleman, KCFT's General Manager. "From FamilyNet, viewers Statewide can expect entertaining and professional broadcasts and we see Alaska Wild Football as one of the anchors that make FamilyNet Alaska's Local Sports Leader."

Alaska Broadcast Television, FamilyNet GCI Cable channel 19/TV channel 35 (KCFT) is a member of Christian Broadcasting, Inc., which is also the home of radio stations KAFC 93.7, KATB 89.3, KJLP 88.9, and the Radio Espresso Drive Thru and Café.

The Alaska Wild is part of the Intense Football League (IFL). Founded in 2003, the IFL consists of a record nine professional indoor football teams, three of which are located outside of Texas, the Louisiana Swashbucklers of Lake Charles, LA , the Alaska Wild of Anchorage, Alaska and the recently added Fairbanks Grizzlies of Fairbanks, Alaska. Texas teams include the CenTex Barracudas of Belton, Corpus Christi Hammerheads, Odessa Roughnecks, San Angelo Stampede Express, Katy Ruff Riders, and Frisco Thunder.
