ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The St. Louis Aces of World TeamTennis (WTT) announced today that Washington University Orthopedics will be the Official Team Physicians.
Washington University Orthopedics is known for their specialty in sports medicine. They are the official team physicians for several St. Louis area professional teams including the St. Louis Blues, St. Louis Rams, the Washington University athletic teams and several local high school athletic teams. Dr. Matthew Dobbs will be the Aces official team doctor. Dr. Dobbs completed medical school at the University Of Iowa School Of Medicine and is now an associate professor at Washington University School of Orthopedics as well as a practicing physician. In 2002 Dr. Dobbs won the Hunterian Award for his research.

We will bring that same philosophy with us as we begin this new chapter as a member of the St. Louis Aces Family" said Dr. Dobbs.
The practice has been nationally recognized for their premier services with many award winning doctors on staff. They are ranked # 3 by Parent's Magazine for their pediatric orthopedic services and have also been listed on the U.S. News & World Report's Honor Roll.
As part of Washington University School of Medicine they have two teaching facilities in the area at Barnes Jewish Hospital and another at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
