Thank You for 7 Great Years

St. Louis Aces News Release

Dear Fans,

It is with heavy hearts that are writing to inform you that the Apted family will resign ownership of the St. Louis Aces beginning January 1, 2012. We will stay involved in the tennis community by focusing our efforts on our family business of Creve Coeur Racquet Club and our commitment to grow tennis in Forest Park at Dwight Davis Tennis Center.

As we reflect on our past seven years with the Aces and as it is the time of year to give thanks, we want to make sure we do just that:

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who guided fans to their seats, took tickets, wiped off wet chairs (we wish you would have never had to do that!), directed traffic and stepped up to help in whatever areas were needed.

Thank you to our fantastic ball kids who hustled for every ball during the month of July! It is not an easy job and you kids did great.

Thank you to our amazing sponsors who have supported the Aces during our seven years of ownership. Your commitment to our community is what made it possible for us to bring players like Andy Roddick, Pete Sampras, Serena and Venus Williams, Lindsay Davenport, Liezel Huber and Anna Kournikova to St. Louis to play in beautiful Forest Park.

And of course, thank you FANS for making our matches such a success! St. Louis was known across the league for having the rowdiest crowd with the loudest fans and players loved to come and compete for you. You are what made the Aces matches special. We hope that if the Aces do find themselves under new ownership in St. Louis that you join us in welcoming them to and supporting them in the tennis community.

Sincerely,

The Apted Family
