
New Orleans outlasts Philadelphia 61-47

QB Andy Kelly threw for 315 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the New Orleans VooDoo to a 61-47 victory over the Philadelphia Soul in the New Orleans Arena.
The VooDoo (3-1) won their third straight game behind Kelly, who threw a pair of TD passes to three different New Orleans receivers -- OS Aaron Bailey, WR/LB Thabiti Davis and WR/DB Lamont Moore in front of a crowd of 15,169.
Moore and DS Monty Montgomery each picked off Philadelphia QB Tony Graziani as the New Orleans defense also stopped the Soul (2-2) on downs on two other occasions.
Kelly, who was 27-of-43 passing in the game, was selected as the Offensive Player of the Game. Montgomery, who had two tackles and two pass defenses to go along with his interception was selected as the ADT Defensive Player of the Game. Moore, who finished with three receptions for 21 yards and two scores on offense and three tackles and his interception on defense, was selected as the U.S. Army Ironman of the Game.
Bailey finished with 11 catches for 155 yards and two TDs while Rumph had seven receptions for 105 yards and two TDs for the VooDoo.
Graziani was 19-of-34 passing for 283 yards, two interceptions and seven TDs for the Soul.
Soul OS Steve Smith led all Soul receivers with eight catches for 145 yards and four TDs while WR/LB Sean Scott had seven receptions for 105 yards and two TDs.
