New Mexico United Hosts Open Tryouts on January 13
December 21, 2023 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
New Mexico United News Release
New Mexico United is hosting open tryouts on January 13 at Kraemer Fields (2811 Karsten Ct SE) in Albuquerque. This is the third open tryout that New Mexico United has hosted since our inaugural 2019 season and is an opportunity for all players to potentially earn a roster spot. In our first year, we signed two players to the squad who were identified at our open tryouts in Josh Goss and Phillip Beigl. Last year, Dylan Tovani joined our squad for the majority of preseason as well.
If we see potential in you as a player, you may be afforded an opportunity to join our squad when preseason begins later in January. We want to leave no stone unturned and tryouts give us an avenue to discover players we otherwise might not have the chance to see.
Registration fee is $150 plus tax, so the total is $161.63. We'll be breaking the tryout up into an 11am session and a 2pm session, with a callback game at 4pm. We will send you an email the day before the tryout with additional information, including which session you will be attending, but please plan to make yourself available from 11am until at least 5pm.
See you at Kraemer Fields on January 13!
