FORT WORTH, TX - The Prairie Dogs have placed catcher Zach Crosswhite on the inactive list. Replacing him on the roster is catcher Christopher Caves.
Crosswhite, who joined the team on Thursday, did not enter into last night's victory over Fort Worth.
Caves is a 26-year-old backstop who began 2012 with the Camden Riversharks in the Atlantic League. In 24 at-bats with his former club, the 6'3" catcher homered once and drove in five runs. Caves is from Mesa, AZ.
The Prairie Dogs continue with their four game series in Fort Worth with a 7:05 first pitch this evening.
