New Healthy Menu Choices on Game Day at Heart Health Park

Gamedays wouldn't be complete without a stadium snack. And with the commitment to highlight health and wellness at Heart Health Park presented by Western Health Advantage, new menu items complement stadium favorites to provide fans with a wide array of choices of culinary treats.

New items including grilled fish tacos, keto dogs, fresh flatbreads, veggie burgers and chicken wraps pack the flavor that fans are craving, with a nod toward nutrition and fresh eats.

One of the new additions that will become a stadium regular is Rabbit Food Revolution, a Sacramento vegan food truck and local favorite. Owner Nate Anger created Rabbit Food Revolution out of a love for the city's Farm-to-Fork reputation, as well as a commitment to a more sustainable food system.

Anger's vegan alternatives showcase high quality, enjoyable, hearty food that is fresh and healthy.

"We're honored to be serving our Sacramento Republic fans," said Anger. "It was my goal with this project to be woven into the culture of Sacramento and help to create a more dynamic food culture for this city. We're uniquely positioned to do just that, while surprising people in showing that great food can be done in a thoughtful, healthy manner and with huge flavor."

The vision for Heart Health Park is to create a community center to drive awareness and action around cardiovascular health, including at the food stands. Along with Rabbit Food Revolution, several other healthy options will be available around Heart Health Park - Sacramento favorite Drewski's will have a new spicy chicken caesar salad wrap on a whole wheat tortilla, Hot Dogg'in features a Keto Dog and Beyond Veggie Burger Deluxe, and Fiesta's Mexican Food Cod fillet tacos are just a few examples, with more to come at future home games.

"We are truly excited about re-opening with Fans in 2021 and SRFC's new direction as Heart Health Park. Our keto dog was created to answer the demands of our guests that we serve throughout the region. As we learn and grow together as a community our menu is in constant change," said Hot Dogg'in Owner Eddie Barrera.

Fiesta's Mexican Food Owner John Franco noted, "We are committed to growing health and culinary trends. Our Fish Taco Platter is a fan favorite - and is speaks to our region and California in general- light and airy - bursting with fresh flavors and featuring local products."
