FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution Academy U-15s and U-17s traveled to Washington D.C. over the weekend to face D.C. United and Philadelphia Union, while the U-14s took on Intercontinental FA on Tuesday night.
The U-17s played D.C. United to a 4-4 draw on Saturday with Olger Escobar (2006 - Lynn, Mass.) tallying twice while Joshua Poulson (2007 - Hingham, Mass.) and Tito Nichols (2007 - Milton, Mass.) added to the scoring. The team suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday, falling to Philadelphia Union, 4-1. Eric Martinez (2006 - Perris, Calif.) scored his fifth goal of the season in the match.
The U-15s fell to D.C. United, 6-1, on Saturday with Cristiano Carlos (2008- Chicopee, Mass.) finding the scoreboard for New England. They played Philadelphia Union to a 1-1 draw on Sunday where Carlos again found the back of the net to secure his team-leading sixth goal of the season.
The U-14s earned a 1-1 draw with Intercontinental FA on Tuesday night. Judah Siqueira (2009 - South Easton, Mass.) scored his team-leading ninth goal in his ninth appearance of the season in the 14th minute of the match.
The U-19s will resume their season this weekend, traveling to play New York Soccer Club and Met Oval. The U-14s, U-15s, and U-17s all return to action on November 19. Brandonn Bueno (2004 - Framingham, Mass.) signed his first professional contract with Revolution II on Monday, becoming the eighth Revolution Academy player to ascend to the second team's roster since the team's inaugural season in 2020.
U-15 forward Cristiano Carlos (2008 - Chicopee, Mass.) scored both of his team's goals this weekend, bringing him to six on the season.
Olger Escobar (2006 - Lynn, Mass.) tallied his fifth and sixth goals of the season in the U-17s draw with D.C. United.
U-17 forward Eric Martinez (2006 - Perris, Calif.) scored New England's lone goal on Sunday for his fifth of the season.
Judah Siqueira (2009 - South Easton, Mass.) scored his ninth goal of the season in his ninth appearance with the U-14s to secure a 1-1 draw against Intercontinental FA.
Academy graduate Jack Panayotou was named to the All-Big East Third Team after tallying five goals and three assists during his freshman season at Georgetown University.
Notching four goals and five assists in his junior season at Providence College, Academy graduate Gevork Diarbian was named to the All-Big East Second Team.
