New England Black Wolves News Release

UNCASVILLE, CT. - New England announced today that Dave Emala has re-signed with the team under a one-year agreement.

Per team policy, no details were released.

"Dave is a player that has committed to the indoor game," Glenn Clark, head coach and general manager said. "He has shown great strides over the last couple of seasons. We look forward to having Dave continue his indoor lacrosse growth in a Black Wolves uniform."

Emala, a North Carolina University graduate, returns to the Black Wolves after appearing in six of the Pack's 11 games last season. In those six contests he scored two goals and two assists for four points while also scooping up 15 loose balls and causing one turnover. The second-year forward has competed in a total of 13 games, has racked up 17 points on nine goals and eight assists and has 30 loose balls.

New England acquired Emala in August of 2018 after he spent time with the Pack in training camp at the beginning of the 2017-18 season. In addition to competing for the Black Wolves, he has also competed for Major League Lacrosse and most recently made his transition to the Premier Lacrosse League.
