
New England Partners with FOX61 for Hometown Heroes

UNCASVILLE, CT. - The New England Black Wolves and FOX 61 will join together to honor local military personnel and first responders throughout New England on Saturday, Feb. 22. The Pack will welcome the Rochester Knighthawks for Hometown Heroes night at 7pm.
Military personnel and first responders who provide proper ID can take advantage of an exclusive offer - a $16-dollar ticket that includes a $5 concession voucher - by purchasing tickets at the box office on game night. Call 844-LAX-WOLF for more information.
"This game is an opportunity for us to honor the heroes among us who have served or are serving our country as well as those serving our community. We appreciate the partnership Fox61 provides in order to further highlight these amazing individuals," said Black Wolves Vice President A ¬â¹mber Cox.
FOX 61 continues to recognize first responders and military personnel who have made an impact in the local community through its Proud to Serve segments. The segments are broadcast monthly on the FOX 61 News at Ten.
Army veteran, Boris Shaw will serve as the guest of the game and Rachel Piscatelli will provide an in-game weather segment. The New England Black Wolves' Community Spotlight for the night is the Three Rivers Community College Veterans' Organization. The organization will receive half of the 50/50 raffle proceeds of the evening.
The Black Wolves are also partnering with United Way of Southeastern Connecticut to host a food drive on Hometown Heroes night. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate and help fight hunger.
