Neilson Wins ECHL's Defenseman Of The Year

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots are proud to announce that defenseman Corey Neilson has been named the ECHLs Defenseman of the Year as determined in a vote of ECHL coaches.
Neilson was the top scorer for the Ice Pilots this season and the top scoring defenseman in the league with 78 points. Neilson also lead the league in power play assists with 35 and 44 power play points. Neilson finished eighth overall in scoring in the league with his 78 points and also tied the league among defenseman in goals with 19.
Neilson was named to the All-ECHL First Team and represented the Ice Pilots in the ECHL All-Star game this season as a starter for the Western Conference Team.
The Ice Pilots will play Louisiana in the Central Division Semi-Final Round best of five Kelly Cup Playoff series. The Ice Pilots first home playoff game is Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The following is a schedule of the games to be played:

The Ice Pilots will host a jersey auction of the white game worn jerseys after the game on Saturday. Fans will be able to receive the jerseys after the season is over.
Individual game tickets for the first home Kelly Cup Playoff game are on sale. Cost of individual tickets are $24 for floor and glass, $17 for sides, $15 for goals and lower upper and $12 for upper level seats. Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com.
Kelly Cup Playoff strip tickets are on sale for all pot ential Ice Pilots home playoff games along with group tickets and season tickets for next year by calling 432-PUCK.
