Danger Indoor Professional Football Team are pleased to announce the signing of:

Mike Jones

Jones, a 6'2" 205 lb wide receiver, has signed with the Danger after four seasons with the Omaha Beef and two with the Colorado Ice.

An outstanding athlete at Sutton High School in central Nebraska, Jones was a standout wide receiver and punter at Midland University in Fremont from 2002-2005, where he currently holds the season and career records for punts. Jones was second team All-GPAC in 2005 as a wide receiver, and led the Warriors in receiving with 42 receptions for 435 yards and two touchdowns. During his senior season, Jones punted 35 times averaging 34.5 yards per punt, with a long of 63.

During the 2011 season with the Omaha Beef, Jones recorded 19 receptions for 206 yards and three touchdowns as he appeared in eight games. In his indoor career, he has combined for 157 receptions for 1,496 yards and 18 touchdowns in 44 games.

Head Coach Mike Davis comments, "Jones will be a real asset to the Danger, bringing excellent veteran leadership. We are excited to have him and his big play ability on the field. We know our fans will be excited to see an exceptional local athlete coming back home."
