Nebraska Danger Coaches, Tommy Armstrong Jr. to Hold Hastings Kids Camp

On Saturday, February 2nd, the Nebraska Danger will unofficially become a Hastings indoor football team for the day, as they host their first-ever winter Kids Camp at Hastings High School!
The Kids Camp is comprised of three sessions - an early and late football session as well as a cheer session. Kids ages 5-9 will participate in the early football session from 10 a.m. - Noon, with kids ages 10-13 participating in the afternoon session from 1-3 p.m. There will also be a cheer camp for kids ages 5-13 that will run alongside the afternoon session from 1-3 p.m.
An exciting addition to the Kids Camps will be former Nebraska Cornhusker and recently signed Nebraska Danger quarterback Tommy Armstrong, Jr! He will be assisting the Danger coaching staff during the camps. Hastings High football coach Charlie Shoemaker will also be helping coach the kids during the camp!
This stop in Hastings is the first of three consecutive Danger Kids Camps that will take place on Saturdays for the next few weeks. On Saturday, February 9th, the Danger will be in Kearney to hold another kids camp at Sunrise Middle School. Then on Saturday, February 16th, the team will return to Grand Island to hold a kids camp at Grand Island Senior High School!
Camp Registration is available online at dangerfootball.com/kidscamp, or walk-up registrations will be permitted. The football camp costs just $25 per camper, with the cheer camp costing $40 per camper.
Media availability for the camp coaches and Tommy Armstrong, Jr. will take place from 12:20-12:40 p.m. We hope we can see you out there this Saturday for a unique community event in Hastings!
