NBDL to Use New Ball
November 20, 2003 - NBA G League (G League) News Release
The National Basketball Development League, the NBA's Minor League, is changing the rules for the 2003-04 season. In addition to switching to 12-minute quarters to mirror the game played by the NBA, the NBDL is also going to play the new season with a new red, white and blue Spalding Infusion basketball. The NBDL is introducing the new ball to not only honor our country, but to also honor the ABA, another league whose players went on to make an impact in the NBA.
