ALL-STAR SLAM: Sergeant Slam, the Fayetteville Patriots affable mascot, has been selected to represent the NBDL at 2005 NBA All-Star activities in Denver. Sgt. Slam will be included in several All-Star activities such as All-Star Saturday, All-Star Sunday and at the Jam Session.

LUCKY 13: The Columbus Riverdragons are going for consecutive victory number 13 at Huntsville tonight. The NBDL record for consecutive wins is 15, set by the Greenville Groove during the 2001-02 season.

LOST FOUR: Florida's loss at Roanoke Friday was its fourth consecutive and dropped the Flame to 3-14 on the season.

GOOD NIGHT FOR POINTS: Friday was a good night for NBDL point guards Cory Alexander and Omar Cook. Alexander scored 29 points and dished out 14 assists in Roanoke's win over Florida. Cook had 16 points and 12 assists in Fayetteville's victory over Asheville.

SHOOTERS DELIGHT: No, it's not a happy hour special, it's an underlying reason why Roanoke and Florida combined for 240 points Friday night. The Dazzle and Flame combined to make 94 field goals. Florida was 46-for-84 (.548) and Roanoke 48-for-89 (.539).
