MOTOR CITY MAESTRO: Detroit Pistons guard Saben Lee, playing on assignment with the Motor City Cruise, has been named NBA G League Player of the Month for games played in November. Lee averaged a league-high 29.8 points, 7.8 assists, 6.6 rebounds and 2.2 steals while leading Motor City to a 3-2 record. Lee, the 38th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, dazzled in November with two 40-point performances, including 42 points in the Cruise's opening night victory over the Cleveland Charge on Nov. 6. Lee cap- tured NBA G League Player of the Week honors for games played Nov. 5-14.

LEAVE IT TO LUKA: Westchester Knicks forward Luka Samanic was named NBA G League Player of the Week for games played Monday, Nov. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 5. Samanic, a Two-Way player with the New York Knicks, averaged 30.0 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists as Westchester went 2-1. Samanic capped his week with a 36-point performance in Westchester's 121-117 win over the College Park Skyhawks on Dec. 3. The Knicks return to action Dec. 12 when they visit the Delaware Blue Coats at 3 p.m. ET on NBAGLeague.com.

THIS MAGIC MOMENT: The 2021 NBA G League Champi- on Lakeland Magic are riding a five-game winning streak in Showcase Cup play. B.J. Johnson led Lakeland to a 2-0 week with a 40-point, 11-rebound performance in the Magic's 118-97 victory over the Memphis Hustle on Dec.

3. Lakeland improved to 5-3 on the season, and will look to keep its Showcase Cup hopes alive against the Birming- ham Squadron on Dec. 9 on ESPN+ at 8 p.m. ET. Rio Grande Valley Vipers head coach Mahmoud Abdelfattah was named NBA G League Coach of the Month for games played in November. Abdelfattah led Rio Grande to a perfect 8-0 record, good for first place in the NBA G League Showcase Cup standings. Under Abdelfattah, the Vipers lead the league in point differential (+12.8) and rank second in scoring (118.1 ppg).

Los Angeles Clippers guard Brandon Boston Jr., play- ing on assignment with the Agua Caliente Clippers, scored 46 points in the team's 130-97 victory over the Salt Lake City Stars on Nov. 29. The 46 points are tied for the most scored by a player in the NBA G League this season along with Cam Thomas of the Long Island Nets.

On Dec. 1, Windy City Bulls forward Tyler Cook shot 11-of-15 from the field and scored 32 points in the Bulls' 102-101 win against the Wisconsin Herd. Cook also recorded four steals in the victory.

Lakeland Magic guard Hassani Gravett recorded his first career NBA G League triple-double in the Mag- ic's 118-97 Dec. 3 triumph over the Memphis Hustle. Gravett scored 16 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 11 assists.

San Antonio Spurs Two-Way forward Devontae Cacok, playing with the Austin Spurs, grabbed 18 re- bounds and scored a team-high 24 points in a 108- 105 win over the Greensboro Swarm on Dec. 2.
