BOSTON'S MARCUS LANDRY ASSIGNED TO NBA D-LEAGUE AFFILIATE MAINE RED CLAWS
Boston Celtics rookie forward Marcus Landry was assigned to the Maine Red Claws, the Celtics' NBA D-League affiliate. Landry's assignment is the 28th of the 2009-10 NBA D-League season. Landry, 6-7, 230-pounds, has appeared in one game for Boston since being acquired by the Celtics on Feb. 18 in a trade with the New York Knicks. In 18 career NBA games, Landry averaged 2.4 points and 6.2 minutes, scoring a career-high eight points in a 132-89 win over the Indiana Pacers on Jan. 3 at Madison Square Garden.

Erie's Blake Ahearn, in just his second game with Erie, poured in 32 points and went 6 for 6 from the free throw line in the final thirty seconds of the game to seal the deal. Mike Gansey chipped in a double-double dropping in 30 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The duo combined for 30 second-quarter points and connected on four three-pointers each in the frame as they brought Erie back from an 8-point deficit to enter halftime tied 66-66 Iowa was led by Cartier Martin's 37 points, including 6 of 8 from long range, and Earl Barron's double-double of 23 points and 10 boards.
Joe Dabbert led the way for Idaho with 26 points. Bryson McKenzie came off the bench to post 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Stampede. Lance Allred (17 points and 11 rebounds) and Mildon Ambres (12 points and 10 rebounds) also posted double-doubles for the visitors Keith McLeod once again led the way for Albuquerque, scoring 29 points and dishing out nine assists. Antoine Agudio added 17 and Shane Edwards chipped in 14 for the Thunderbirds.
The Jam were led in scoring by Will Daniels with 28. Brian Butch finished with 18 points and 19 rebounds. Trey Johnson hit a fall-away jumper at the buzzer to lead the Jam past the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and finished with 20 points and 20 assists Kenny Hasbrouck finished with a career-high 29 points for the Vipers while Craig Winder scored 28 points to go with a career-high nine rebounds, five assists and a career-high tying five steals.
The Flash had six players score in double figures and were led by Orien Greene's 20 pointsSpringfield was led by Tre Whitted's 22 points and Dante Milligan's 14 points and 12 rebounds.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
30 players with NBA D-League experience competed in nine NBA games last night, four as starters.
Houston's starter Aaron Brooks finished with 25 points, adding nine assist and four rebounds for the Rockets.
Starting for Minnesota, Ryan Hollins scored 15 points. Teammate Ramon Sessions followed with 14.
