GARRETT TEMPLE EARNS GATORADE CALL-UP FORM ROCKETS
Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced y that the team has signed Rio Grande Valley guard Garrett Temple to a 10-day contract, marking his first-ever GATORADE Call-Up to the NBA. Temple is the13th GATORADE Call-Up of the 2009-10 NBA D-League Season and the third Viper to make the jump to the Rockets this season. He joins 69 current NBA players with NBA D-League experience.
ALBUQUERQUE'S AGUDIO AND POWELL NAMED NBA DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE CO-PERFORMERS OF THE WEEK
The Albuquerque Thunderbirds' Antoine Agudio and Carlos Powell were named NBA Development League Co-Performers of the Week for games played during the week of Feb. 1, 2010. The award is the second for Powell, who was also recognized for his play on Jan. 11, and the first for Agudio.
Agudio and Powell led the Thunderbirds to a 3-1 record last week, including back-to-back victories over the Western Conference leading Rio Grande Valley Vipers. The duo combined for 51 points on Feb. 3 when Albuquerque defeated the Vipers 123-114. On Feb. 5, Agudio led all scorers with 24 points as the Thunderbirds handed Rio Grande Valley only the team's eighth loss of the season, 108-93. On Feb. 6, The Vipers defeated the Utah Flash 88-87 on the back of Agudio's game-winning three pointer. They both totaled 19 in the game.
For the week, Agudio averaged 21.0 points, while shooting 53 percent from the field (26-of-49), to go with 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists. Powell chipped in with 23.0 points per game on 47 percent shooting from the field (30-of-64). He also recorded 4.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game.
Powell, a 6-7 forward out of South Carolina, owns season averages of 22.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 29 games. Agudio, a 6-3 guard from Hofstra, has also appeared in 29 games, averaging 15.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists.

Malik Hairston, one of seven Toros to score double-digits, led Austin in scoring and finished with 32 points. Marcus Campbell scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds for Springfield and Morris Almond finished with 29.
Five of the D-Fenders scored in double-digits with Joe Crawford leading his team with 22 points. Teammate Diamon Simpson also contributed, posting a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Tulsa's Mustafa Shakur led his team with 21 points while four of other 66ers also scored in the double-digits.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
11 players with NBA D-League experience competed in three NBA games last night, two as starters.
Anthony Tolliver recorded a double-double for Golden State, scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Jordan Farmar scored 13 points as the Lakers defeated the Spurs 101-89.
