The Austin Toros dropped to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the annual schoolhouse jam game early Tuesday at the Austin Convention Center falling 97-88.

The Vipers were led by Antonio Anderson, who matched his career high with his 28 points while adding seven rebounds and six assists. Mike Harris finished with 27 points while adding seven boards and reached a career high in three-point baskets made with five. Houston Rockets assignee Joey Dorsey scored 10 with eight rebounds and two blocks, while Jonathan Wallace added 11 points with five assists.

Dwayne Jones, the adidas Player of the Game, led the way for Austin with 29 points and 13 boards for his fourth straight double-double. Curtis Jerrells was solid at the point guard spot for Austin as he finished with 21 points while dishing out nine assists. Alonzo Gee added 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Toros.

JAM ADD WISE, RELEASE INJURED GAMBLE

Wise will make his debut in the NBA D-League tonight as the Jam take on the Los Angeles D-Fenders. Having left the University of Southern Mississippi for the NBA Draft after his junior season, the 6'2", 165-lb Wise led the Golden Eagles with 16.7 points and 4.7 assists in his third year at the school, shooting 44.7% from the field and 81.9% from the line.

Gamble suffered a mild right shoulder separation during a battle under the boards in Saturday's loss to the Utah Flash. He averaged 2.3 points and 6.8 rebounds in 21.8 minutes over four games (one start) for the Jam.

TULSA 66ERS MAKE ROSTER MOVE

The Tulsa 66ers announced that they have re-acquired center Steven Hill. He will join the team for their upcoming road contest versus Springfield on Dec. 10 and will wear number 50. Hill (7-0, 245) was originally acquired via a trade on Jan. 20, 2009. The University of Arkansas product played in seven games for the 66ers during the 2008-09 season, averaging 7.6 points and 5.7 rebounds.

Hill is replacing forward Keith Clark, who was waived due to injury. Clark will remain in Tulsa this week to undergo further evaluation by team physicians.

ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:

16 players with NBA D-League experience competed in eight NBA games last night, three as starters.

As a starter for Milwaukee, Ersan Ilyasova scored 19 points, grabbed eight rebounds and swiped three steals.

Rafer Alston registered 15 points, three rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes of play for the New Jersey Nets.

Jose Juan Barea tallied 14 points and dished six assists as a starter for the Dallas Mavericks.
