THURSDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Thursday's games:

The Iowa Energy remained undefeated on the year with a 102-95 victory over the Ft. Wayne Mad Ants Thursday night. Curtis Stinson led the Energy with 18 points, seven rebounds and 14 assists. Earl Barron scored 20 points and pulled down 14 rebounds for the Energy while guard Jeff Trepagnier added 20 points in the win.

Fort Wayne was led by forward Rob Kurz, who scored 26 points and had seven rebounds. Ron Howard and Sean Sonderleiter each had 16 points, with Sonderleiter adding seven rebounds and Howard adding five.

Utah, who saw seven of their nine players score in double digits, was led by guard Andre Ingram, who poured in 23 points. Dontell Jefferson filled the box score with 16 points, 12 assists, five rebounds, three steals and a block.

The Jam was led by Reece Gaines, who scored 18 points and dished out six assists. Anthony Goods finished with 15 points and five assists.

LOS ANGELES D-FENDERS ACQUIRE RETURNING PLAYER JOE CRAWFORD

The Los Angeles D-Fenders announced the team has acquired returning player, Joe Crawford. In an effort to make room for Crawford on the roster, the D-Fenders have released Christopher Hayes.

Shooting guard, Joe Crawford was selected by the Lakers in the second round (58th pick overall) of the 2008 NBA Draft. Assigned to the D-Fenders in 2008, Crawford played 43 games, averaging 20.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. Of the 43 games, Crawford scored double figures in 42 of them. In March 2009, Crawford signed with the New York Knicks and became the 18th Gatorade Call-Up of the NBA D-League season. Crawford participated in the 2009 NBA training camp with the New York Knicks, prior to returning to the D-Fenders.

BIGHORNS ACQUIRE HIGH-FLYING THOMAS

The Reno Bighorns have acquired Doug Thomas, a 6-9 forward out of the University of Iowa, the team announced today. Thomas, known for his extraordinary vertical leaping ability, was a second-round selection in the 2009 NBA D-League Draft by the Dakota Wizards. Prior to the NBA D-League Draft, Thomas played for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2009 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

To make room on the roster, Reno has released forward Brian Laing, who averaged nine points and four rebounds over the first two games of the season.

ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:

Nine players with NBA D-League experience competed in three NBA games last night, three as starters.

As a starter, Aaron Brooks led Houston with a game-high 25 points as the Rockets defeated the Warriors 111-109.

Denver's Chris Andersen nine points and grabbed 10 rebounds to help the Nuggets defeat the Miami Heat 114-96.
