CHARLOTTE'S AJINCA AND SINGLETARY ASSIGNED TO NBA D-LEAGUE AFFILIATE SIOUX FALLS SKYFORCE

The Charlotte Bobcats assigned Alexis Ajinca and Sean Singletary to the team's NBA Development League Affiliate Sioux Falls Skyforce. Ajinca and Singletary are the 31st and 32nd assignments of the 2009 NBA D-League season, respectively.

Originally selected in the first round (20th overall) by the Bobcats in the 2008 NBA Draft, Ajinca has appeared in 31 games for the Bobcats, four as a starter, and averaged 2.3 points in 5.9 minutes.

Singletary, who was selected in the second round (42nd overall) of the 2008 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings, has appeared in 24 games for the Bobcats this season after being traded from Phoenix in Dec. 10, 2008. In 37 games this season, including 13 with the Suns, Singletary is averaging 2.4 points in 8.2 minutes.

ERIE TEAMMATES DANIELS AND RICE NAMED NBA D-LEAGUE CO-PERFORMERS OF THE WEEK

Erik Daniels and Maureece Rice of the Erie BayHawks were named NBA D-League Co-Performers of the Week for games played during the week of March 2. Daniels, who also earned the honor on Dec. 8, 2008, and Rice led Erie to a 3-0 record last week.

Daniels, a 6-8 forward from Kentucky, averaged 23.3 points, 13.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists last week, including a triple-double on Thursday when he scored 30 points, pulled down 23 rebounds and dished out 10 assists in a win over Tulsa.

Rice, a 6-1 rookie guard from George Washington, finished the week averaging 24.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists. He has scored more than 20 points in his last eight outings.

MONDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Monday's games:

Luke Jackson scored a game-high 29 points as the Idaho Stampede overcame a 21-point second half deficit to pick up a 105-100 victory over the host Utah Flash. Lance Allred contributed 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Idaho. Mohammed Abukar dropped in 21 points off the bench, while Jamaal Tatum added 11 and Jason Ellis grabbed 13 rebounds for the Stampede.

Jazz assignee Morris Almond led the Flash with 22 points, while Kevin Kruger added 15. Ronald Dupree chipped in 19 points. James Lang grabbed 10 rebounds for the Flash.

ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:

17 players with D-League experience competed in five NBA games last night, four as starters.

As a starter for the Houston Rockets, Aaron Brooks scored 19 points in 24 minutes of play.

Jordan Farmar scored 12 points off the bench for the Lakers and added four assists.
