UTAH'S FESENKO ASSIGNED TO NBA D-LEAGUE AFFILIATE UTAH FLASH

The Utah Jazz assigned center Kyrylo Fesenko to the team's NBA Development League affiliate the Utah Flash. Fesenko is the 18th player to be assigned to his NBA D-League affiliate this season. Originally drafted in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers, Fesenko has appeared in 19 career games for the Jazz during the last two seasons. Last season, the 7-1 Ukrainian native was assigned to the Flash three times. During his assignments he averaged 10.1 points and 7.7 rebounds in 37 games, 23 starts.

TUESDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Tuesday's games

Coby Karl collected 20 points and 13 assists while Ernest Scott scored 17 points for the Stampede, who had six players in double figures. Jason Ellis added 13 points, Lance Allred had 11 and Brent Petway, Lanny Smith and Mildon Ambres 10 apiece.  

Chris Hunter led the way for Fort Wayne with 20 points and eight rebounds. Detroit Pistons assignee Alex Acker scored 18 points for the Mad Ants.

Energy forward Cartier Martin led all scorers with 32 points. Four other players finish in double figures including Othyus Jeffers, netting 23 points and eight boards. Courtney Sims grabbed a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds while Larry Ayuso finished the match up with 13 points.

Wizards guard Blake Ahearn recorded 15 points to go with his 9 assists. Maurice Baker finished the victory with 17 points, 5 assists and 7 rebounds.

Chris Richard scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead a balanced scoring attack for the Tulsa 66ers. Ryan Humphrey scored 16 points, Derrick Dial poured in 14 off the bench and Ronald DuPree had 15 points, 9 rebounds and five assists to aid Tulsa.

Erik Daniels had a game-high 20 points and Jarvis Gunter came off the bench to grab 14 rebounds, also a game high, to lead the BayHawks.

Bill Walker recorded a team-high 26 points and five Flash players reached double figures in scoring, including Dontell Jefferson who posted 18 points and J.R. Giddens who had 16. Kyrylo Fesenko, who was assigned to the Flash earlier on Tuesday, tallied 12 points and seven rebounds and James Lang, last year's Utah big man who was reacquired, added 13 points off the bench.

Anaheim was led by D-League Performer of the Week James White, who erupted for 31 points and drained all 13 of his free throw attempts. Noel Felix contributed 16 points and seven rebounds, while Marcus Campbell grabbed 11 rebounds.  

ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS...a look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games

17 players with D-League experience competed in six NBA games last night, four as starters.

Lou Williams finished with 15 points and eight assists in 26 minutes of action for Philadelphia.

Brandon Bass of the Dallas Mavericks scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds.

Houston's Von Wafer and Rafer Alston both started for the Rockets. Wafer tallied 14 points and Alston finished with 10 points and five assists.
