BAKER BREAKS RECORD IN WIZARDS WIN

Maurice Baker, in his fifth year with the Wizards, surpassed former guard and current Assistant coach Kevin Rice for the Wizards All-Time regular season scoring record with a total of 2071 points. He finished with his second straight double-double 19 points and 11 boards.

SUNDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Sunday's games -Four of the starters for Austin scored in double figures including Andre Brown and Malik Hairston with 22 points apiece. Marcus Williams finished with 21 and Charles Gaines with 15. Brown added a team and season high 14 rebounds.

-Smush Parker led the Vipers in scoring with 23 points. Trent Strickland added 19 points and Alpha Bangura had 17.

-Boston Celtics assignee J.R. Giddens tallied a double-double, scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Bill Walker, another Celtics assignee, scored 14 points and collected 7 rebounds. Giddens and Walker led six Flash players to have scoring totals in the double digits.

-James White led all scorers with 28 points and Tierre Brown added 21 points as the Arsenal offense had four players end with double digit scoring totals.

-Blake Ahearn erupted for 33 points and dished eight assists, in his first game back with Dakota, to guide the Wizards to a 111-101 triumph over the Reno Bighorns. Renaldo Major hauled down 12 boards.

-Damone Brown paced Reno with 19 points and Antonio Meeking notched a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds as six Bighorns players scored in double figures.

-Nick Lewis sparked Bakersfield with a 27 point and 12 rebound double-double and Derrick Byars scored 23 points as the Jam defeated the Stampede 108-93. Both teams got off to 8-2 starts this season and were tied atop the West Division.

-Coby Karl scored 24 points for the Stampede.
