NAWBL wraps up season this weekend

(Nashua, NH, Aug. 25, 2006) The NAWBL's final regular season games will be played on Saturday, August 26th. The Outlaws will play the Seahawks at 1pm, with the Ravens battling the Saints at 4pm. Both games will take place at Daniel Webster College. On Sunday, the 2006 NAWBL champion will be crowned following the championship game at 6pm at Holman Stadium, after the Nashua Pride game. The first place Saints will take on the second place team, which will be determined during Saturday's doubleheader.

There will be an awards ceremony following the championship game, where the winner of following awards will be announced: Most Valuable Player, Pitcher of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, and the Coaches Award.
