This game was postponed due to rain. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader beginning at 4:05 PM ET. Both games will be seven innings.

Nashua used a solid outing from starting pitcher Josh Stevens and a lot of run support from its offense to improve to 21-15 in the second half - picking up a half game on first place North Shore in the process. Stevens allowed two earned runs on seven hits while striking out seven in seven innings of work. The victory brings the right-hander's record to 4-2 this season. RF Jayson Bass and DH Larry Bethea each had big nights at the plate for Nashua, combining to go 4-for-7, including a home run each, with four runs scored and six RBIs.

The Brockton Rox got plenty of offense late to edge New Jersey on the road in 11 innings. Rox starter Rolando Viera pitched well through seven innings, but left with the score tied 3-3, resulting in a no-decision. Edwin Morel relieved Viera in the eighth and allowed just one run in three innings to record his first win of the season. Brockton pounded out 13 hits, led by RF Joe Hough who was 3-for-6 with two runs scored and two RBIs, and C Jason Radwan, who was 1-for-6, including a grand slam, and five RBIs.

Quebec 7, Sussex 1

Quebec starting pitcher Gabe Ribas was strong once again as he allowed just one earned run on five hits while striking out seven through seven innings of work to improve to 10-3 on the season. Ribas got plenty of support from his offense, led by 1B Eddie Lantigua and 3B Ryan Lehr who were each 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. One of Lantigua's hits was a home run, his 10th of the year. The win for the Capitales pulls them within 2 games of North Shore for first place in the Can-Am Leauge.
