Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release

SPRINGDALE, AR - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals' Wednesday night game against the Arkansas Travelers has been postponed due to inclement weather and standing water on the playing field.

The game has been rescheduled as part of a twi-night, same admission doubleheader to be held tomorrow, (Thursday, September 2nd). The teams will play two seven-inning contests beginning at 5:05 P.M. Gates will open at 4:30 P.M, and there will be a 30 minute intermission between the two contests. Any ticket for Thursday will be good for both games.

All tickets from Wednesday night are eligible, per the Naturals' rain check policy, to be exchanged for an equal-value ticket, based on availability, to any regular season Naturals game during the remainder of the 2010 season.

The Naturals now are tied a dubious record in the Texas League, having had four games washed away in the past seven weeks.

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are the Double-A Texas League affiliate of the Kansas City Royals and play at state-of-the-art Arvest Ballpark, located in Springdale. The Naturals have a toll-free ticket hotline ( 1-877-444-2637) for fans to purchase Naturals tickets. Our website, nwanaturals.com offers fans the opportunity to purchase tickets online and avoid lines at the ticket windows by printing their tickets at home or at the office.
