Potomac Nationals News Release

WOODBRIDGE, Va. - This evening's Potomac Nationals series opener against the Winston-Salem Dash has been postponed due to heavy rains in the Woodbridge, Va. area.

With more rain scheduled in the forecast for this evening, the Nationals and the Dash will now play a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 21 with first pitch for game one scheduled for 10:30 a.m. from Pfitzner Stadium. The reason for the special morning start time is because the P-Nats will be hosting their first annual Middle School Math Day sponsored by Pepsi and SOARathome.org.

Tickets for Monday's game can be exchanged for a future game during the 2009 season, except July 4th, based on availability. Please contact the ticket office during regular hours to make arrangements to exchange your tickets.

As it is for every Tuesday home game at Pfitzner Stadium, the Potomac Nationals will be hosting Salute to Service Night where all military, first responders, and teachers receive free tickets with proof of identification.

Tuesday's twinbill will feature two seven-inning contests between the P-Nats and the Dash with a brief 30-minute break between ballgames.

For more information about tickets, daily promotions, and stats on all your favorite P-Nats players, call the ticket office at (703) 590-2311 or log onto www.potomacnationals.com to join the party!
